And I saw that the sacred hoop of my people was one of many hoops that made one circle, wide as daylight and as starlight, and in the center grew one mighty flowering tree to shelter all the children of one mother and one father. And I saw tht it was holy. --Black Elk, Lakota |
Join us in this perilous moment in history known as the Great Turning as we gather around the ancient mythic image of the Tree of Life. With music and dance, stories and poetry we will come together to express gratitude for the gift of life. Opening to the truth of our despair for the earth and future generations, we will discover new ways of seeing. And in the joy of Earth Community we will dance and sing our yearnings for a sustainable world.
